Shannon Chan-Kent is the kind of face you stop trying to place because she is just reliably there, somewhere in the cast, ever since 2015. Across her eleven films she has top-billed exactly once, so think of her less as the romance and more as the person who keeps the small town running. That town comes up a lot, seven of the eleven, usually under conventional Hallmark rules rather than anything strange. Her best showing is The Irresistible Blueberry Farm from 2016 at 7.0, with both halves of the 2015 Gourmet Detective right behind at 6.8. She also turns up often enough alongside Matthew Kevin Anderson and Samantha Ferris that they read like familiar company. Only three of her films are Christmas titles, so if you are filling out a non-holiday Hallmark night, she is quietly a part of it.

She is known for her roles as Silver Spoon, Smolder and the singing voice of Pinkie Pie in My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic, Misa Amane in the English dub of Death Note, and the Biskit twins and Youngmee Song on Littlest Pet Shop. She also portrays Joy Pepper in the rebooted Superbook, the Chief in Pucca, Courtney's best friend Janet in Spectacular!, and Amy Rose in Sonic Prime.
