Lynda Boyd is the kind of name you stop reading as a name and start treating as a sign you're in good hands. Across 15 films since 2015 she's never been the one on the poster, and that's rather the point. She works the edges of these small towns, and she works them well. Christmas is where you'll find her most, six of the fifteen, usually somewhere snowed-in and sincere, and she plays it straight rather than wink at the camera. Her best-reviewed outing is The Wedding Veil Inspiration from 2023 at 7.1, with An Unexpected Christmas and The Christmas Note close behind. No fixed co-star anchors her either. She turns up across all sorts of casts and quietly raises the floor. Reliable company for a cold December night.
