Christmas in Tahoe

Claire Rhodes is the dedicated manager of the Inn on the Lake in Tahoe, but she harbors dreams of becoming a major entertainment producer in Las Vegas. She is currently being recruited by Andre Hudson of Emperor Resorts, who is coming to see her Christmas Eve Variety Show as a final interview. The stakes are raised when her superstar headliner, Ashley Burns, cancels due to vocal nodules, causing other acts to drop out. Desperate to save the show and her career prospects, Claire encounters her ex-boyfriend Ryan Donaldson, the lead guitarist of the world-famous band Wild Lynx, who is home for the holidays. Ryan and Claire have a complicated history; she was the band's original manager until they fired her for a big-label representative, leading to their romantic breakup. Despite the tension, Ryan agrees to help Claire find new talent. Their search leads them to several unusual situations, including a 'Room Service Interloper' (RSI) mission where they pose as hotel staff to bypass a manager and book heartbroken comedian Ricki Page. They also take a road trip to Reno with their parents to recruit the a cappella group Inphonous. Throughout these adventures, Ryan reveals his own struggle: he wants to quit touring to focus on songwriting, a move that has caused a rift with his lead singer, Alistair. Meanwhile, Claire discovers that her assistant manager, Jackson, is a talented singer-songwriter who has been performing at open mic nights under the guise of 'dating.' As Christmas Eve approaches, the acrobat act Fleur Du Ciel cancels at the last minute for a Vegas gig. Ryan manages to reconcile with Alistair, and Wild Lynx agrees to headline the show as a favor to Claire. During the gala, Claire's father, Tim, expresses his pride in her and his desire for her to take over the family business, unaware of her Vegas plans. The show is a massive success, featuring Ricki Page, Inphonous, and a surprise performance by Jackson, who sings a quirky song about 'mittens.' Wild Lynx performs their hit 'Christmas Island' and a new song Ryan wrote. Andre Hudson offers Claire the Vegas job on the spot. However, moved by her father's offer to turn the Inn into a year-round music destination and her rekindled feelings for Ryan, Claire turns down the job. She decides to stay in Tahoe to build her own entertainment legacy. Ryan also decides to stay in Tahoe to write music, and the two share a romantic moment at the Wishing Tree, finally aligned in their dreams.
