Trevor Donovan has been knocking around Hallmark since 2012, eleven films deep, and the curious thing is that he has only ever top-billed one of them. He is the dependable second lead, the small town his usual stomping ground, six of his eleven set there, and winter the season he turns up in most. He plays it all straight, no winking at the camera. His high point is USS Christmas from 2020, which at 6.6 edges out his 6.2 average, with Love, Fall & Order and Marry Me at Christmas close behind at 6.5. He has no steady partner across all this. The faces rotate, so he holds his own scene to scene rather than leaning on a regular co-star. If you want a familiar, easygoing presence who shows up and gets the job done, he has been in the mix for years.
