Roark Critchlow is the kind of actor Hallmark calls when a small town needs a grown-up in the frame, and he has been doing exactly that across 11 films since 2005. He never top-bills any of them, which suits him fine. He works the edges of the story, in five small-town settings and, a little unusually, four summer titles rather than the December rush. Only one of his eleven is a Christmas picture. His best showing is the 2016 Murder, She Baked: A Peach Cobbler Mystery at 6.9, with Rise and Shine, Benedict Stone close behind at 6.8 and A Kismet Christmas at 6.6. He plays everything straight, no winking. If you watch enough of these, you have seen his face, and you have probably trusted it.
Roark Grant Critchlow is a Canadian actor. He is known for starring as Dr. Mike Horton on the American daytime soap opera Days of Our Lives from 1994 to 1999.
Across 11 films, Roark returns to Valentine's Day and is usually set in small towns.
