The conflict reaches a climax when Jackson is caught in the basement of Grey House attempting to steal the family treasure. However, the 'treasure' turns out not to be gold, but a historical truth: Joseph finds a letter revealing that Laurel Merrywick and his great-grandmother were actually close friends, and the key was left for safekeeping, not as part of a curse. This revelation heals the rift between the families. Grace eventually finds her confidence, using her intuition to outmaneuver school bullies and embracing her role in the family. The movie concludes at the Harvest Festival, where Abigail gracefully withdraws from the race to let Stephanie win, and Sam Radford hints at a deeper romantic future with Cassie, acknowledging the magical bond they have formed.
