    Wait, what?

The quirks and curveballs that make this one a little weirder than your average Hallmark. No spoilers, promise.

    • The concept of a 'Bridal Boot Camp' that is 50% spin class and 50% marriage counseling.
    • The ex-fiancé who left the lead at the altar returning specifically as a venture capitalist to buy her a gym.
    • The 'Moving Mountains' partner yoga pose used as a metaphor for corporate investment.

    Full story (spoilers)
The film opens with Molly White running her 'Bridal Boot Camp,' a fitness program that combines physical training with marriage counseling. Her boyfriend, Nick Dyson, surprises her with a proposal at the hotel where they first met and shared their first dance. However, a scheduling error at the venue leaves them with a difficult choice: get married in six weeks or wait a year and a half. They decide to rush the wedding, despite Nick also preparing for his first major art gallery opening and Molly attempting to buy the 'Counter Fit' gym from her mentor, Daniel. The plot thickens when Molly is denied a bank loan and her ex-fiancé, Steven—the man who famously left her at the altar years prior—reappears as a successful venture capitalist offering to be her silent partner. While Molly struggles with the ethics and emotional weight of taking Steven's money, Nick faces pressure from a wealthy socialite, Georgia Parsons, who wants to hire him for a high-profile wedding despite his desire to leave wedding photography behind. As the six-week deadline approaches, the stress of planning, business negotiations, and gallery curation leads to a series of compromises that leave both feeling like they are 'settling' for a wedding that is merely 'fine' rather than 'great.' Molly's inability to find a wedding dress she loves serves as a metaphor for her lingering fear of being abandoned again. At Nick's gallery opening, a confrontation with Steven leads Nick and Molly to realize that the rush is damaging their relationship, and they briefly decide to postpone the wedding. However, after Molly realizes she wants to buy the gym on her own terms by partnering with Daniel instead of Steven, and Nick receives a major commission from Clayton Hotels, they realize their love is the only thing that needs to be 'perfect.' They decide to proceed with the wedding the very next day. Molly finds her dream dress at the last minute, and the film concludes with a ceremony where Nick surprises Molly with salsa lessons he took in secret to ensure their first dance is better than the one where they first met.
