    Wait, what?

The quirks and curveballs that make this one a little weirder than your average Hallmark. No spoilers, promise.

    • The catalyst for the plot is a 'crypto crash' which is rare for Hallmark.
    • The protagonist inherits a pig named Gillian who lets herself into the house at will.
    • The 'raccoon sabotage' involves a woman in orthopedic shoes sneaking onto a porch.
    • A farm equipment company offers a lucrative national sponsorship deal to a pig.
    • The final reveal that almost the entire town is related to the protagonist.

    Full story (spoilers)
The film begins with June Waltshire enjoying a lavish lifestyle in Greece, only to receive an urgent call from her business manager, Michael, informing her that a crypto crash has wiped out her entire fortune. With her assets frozen and her designer lifestyle gone, June is left with only her grandfather's old car and a farm in Greenville inherited from her Aunt Birdie. Upon arriving at the farm, she encounters Bart, whom she immediately mistakes for a member of the household staff. Bart, actually a neighboring organic farmer, plays along briefly before clarifying his identity. June also meets Bart's sister, Nina, who welcomes her to the community. The central conflict ignites when June meets Dotty Cartwright, a competitive local who mocks June's 'city girl' persona and claims June could never win a blue ribbon at the upcoming Harvest County Fair. Driven by a desire to honor her aunt's legacy, June enters multiple categories, including pie-baking and livestock showing with Birdie's pig, Gillian. Bart agrees to mentor June, teaching her the nuances of organic farming and the secrets to a perfect pie crust. As they spend time together, a romance blossoms, though June remains focused on regaining her old life. On the eve of the fair, Dotty attempts to sabotage June's pie, but June perseveres and bakes a replacement. At the fair, June wins the Best Pie category and Gillian wins Best in Show, leading to June being named Best Overall in Fair. Shortly after, June receives news that her stocks have recovered and she is wealthy again, while also receiving a lucrative sponsorship offer for Gillian. She initially invites Bart to travel the world with her, but he refuses, stating his life is in Greenville. June realizes that her 'old life' no longer fulfills her. In a final twist, Nina reveals through genealogical research that many of the townspeople, including Dotty, are actually June's distant cousins. June decides to stay in Greenville, deeding the farm to Bart and embracing her new family and her relationship with him.
