Love, Again

The film opens with a flashback to Chloe and David Baker's 10th anniversary, showing a couple deeply in love despite minor quirks like teeth-grinding and coffee-stealing. Ten years later, the reality is starkly different: Chloe is a high-stress family lawyer and David is a struggling entrepreneur. They have grown distant, sleep in separate rooms, and finally decide to separate. They spend the week participating in activities designed to celebrate romance, including a high-altitude hike that triggers Chloe's intense vertigo. In a pivotal moment on a suspension bridge, David helps Chloe overcome her fear, mirroring the support they once gave each other. Meanwhile, David struggles with a failing business deal and Chloe manages a pro bono divorce case back home, both realizing that their work-life imbalance contributed to their marital decay. During a night of dancing and a 'limbo' contest, the couple begins to rediscover their spark, but the charade collapses when Amanda catches them in a heated argument. Chloe confesses the truth about their separation, leading Amanda to call off her own wedding, fearing that love is inherently temporary. However, the honesty actually serves as a catalyst for healing. Chloe and David realize they still love each other and decide to give their marriage a 'reset.' They convince Amanda and Jeremy to proceed with the wedding, explaining that marriage isn't about being perfect, but about falling in love with the same person over and over again. When a massive storm washes out the bridge and prevents the minister from arriving, Chloe uses her legal connections to have a retired judge friend grant her temporary authority to officiate.
