A delightful odd-couple romance, and the goat steals the show. Lacey Chabert plays an aspiring chef and Brennan Elliott a Wall Street trader who unexpectedly co-inherit a run-down country house and have to share it, drawing a literal line down the middle. There is a pregnant goat that eats resumes and a plumbing system you have to sing along with to do the dishes. At a weirdness of 4 it is charming rather than chaotic, with Chabert and Elliott so easy together that it spawned sequels. Cozy city-meets-country comfort.
