About the series
An unexpected inheritance gives caterer Jenny and Brian a reason to share space long before they agree on a future. Lacey Chabert and Brennan Elliott play the couple through three films, following the house into its life as Emily's Country Inn. This is a continuing romance with practical concerns. Repairs, money and ownership remain problems even after the pair begin to understand each other.
What to expect
Expect a country-house romance that follows the work of making a life together. The later films keep returning to the inn and its finances instead of treating the first romantic resolution as the end of all conflict. Neighbors and friends return, including Ed Asner's Vern, as Jenny and Brian work through their plans.
