Emily Holmes is the kind of actress who shows up in the ensemble rather than on the poster, and across ten films from 2014 to 2019 she never once took top billing. That is not a knock. Her real signature is loyalty to a crew. She made five or six films apiece with Viv Leacock, Matthew MacCaull, Kellie Martin and Giacomo Baessato, so she landed in a regular company of faces who kept getting cast together.
