Amanda Schull skips the December rush most Hallmark leads live for, and that is what makes her interesting. Of her six films since 2018 she headlines five, and only one of them is a Christmas title, so she is more a summer and small town fixture than a snow globe regular. She also drifts toward the odder, higher concept premises, the kind that need a real lead to sell them. Her best is One Summer from 2021 at 7.1, with Project Christmas Wish and The Blessing Bracelet both landing at 6.9 just behind. She has no fixed co-star either, rotating partners and carrying each picture on her own. If you want a Hallmark lead who works the warm weather slate and is happy to take a stranger premise seriously, she is a good bet.

Amanda Schull is an American actress and former professional ballet dancer. She is known for her lead role in the 2000 film Center Stage, and for her recurring roles on the American television series One Tree Hill and Pretty Little Liars. She starred as Dr. Cassandra Railly in the Syfy television series 12 Monkeys, and played a recurring role on the USA Network television series Suits before being promoted to series regular for the show's eighth and ninth seasons.
