    Wait, what?

The quirks and curveballs that make this one a little weirder than your average Hallmark. No spoilers, promise.

    • The protagonist uses a mini-trampoline as her primary method of stress management.
    • The extreme NYC gatekeeping where Tracy suggests the Yankees couldn't function without her presence in the city.
    • The 'fusion' food obsession involving 'spicy ramen arrabbiata'.
    • The astronomical coincidence that the man she meets at a random tailor is the secret heir to the 19th-century Italian veil she is holding.

    Full story (spoilers)
The film begins with Tracy, Avery, and Emma on a trip to Maine, where Tracy receives the 'magic' wedding veil. Despite her friends' belief in its power, Tracy remains skeptical, especially when her boyfriend Finn accepts a job with the Los Angeles Symphony. Refusing to leave her beloved New York City, Tracy and Finn break up. While taking the veil to an Italian tailor named Luigi to fix a snag, Tracy has a 'meet-cute' with Nick, a chef, as they bicker over appointment times and their rival football teams (Giants vs. Jets). At work, Tracy is tasked with auctioning an original handwritten draft of Emma Lazarus's poem 'The New Colossus.' She is determined to find a donor who will buy it and donate it to a museum rather than letting it disappear into a private vault. She hires Nick to cater the auction house's 25th-anniversary party, and the two begin a flirtatious professional relationship. They bond over NYC history, 'fusion' cooking (Italian-Asian), and Tracy's attempts to redecorate her apartment with various rugs. Tracy eventually tracks down tech mogul Rangan Narula and convinces him to buy the poem for the museum. Meanwhile, Avery and Emma research the veil's provenance and discover that it was sold by a woman named Angela Diconcini in 1948. In a massive coincidence, it is revealed that Angela was Nick's mother, making Nick the direct descendant of the veil's original owners, Arianna and Amici. Tracy overcomes her fear of commitment, realizing Nick is her 'forever' guy. The film concludes with Tracy and Nick's wedding, where they return the veil to Nick's grandmother, Gia, to keep it within its rightful family line.
