    Full story (spoilers)
The film opens with Amanda, a product developer at Winsome, pitching a natural skincare line called 'Winsome Natural.' Her corporate bosses reject the idea, preferring to stay 'inside the box.' Feeling stagnant, Amanda takes a leave of absence when her Aunt Carol calls from Pecan Hill, Georgia, reporting a sprained wrist. Upon arrival, Amanda learns that Carol intends to sell the farm to move to South Carolina with her boyfriend, Walter. To Amanda's dismay, the real estate broker is JP, her ex-boyfriend and a former professional baseball player who returned home after a career-ending injury. The two have a tense history; they broke up 17 years prior when Amanda chose college over following JP's baseball career. JP and Amanda clash over the sale of the farm; JP wants to paint the historic barn red and remove family photos to appeal to buyers, while Amanda wants to preserve the farm's legacy. During an open house, Amanda actively sabotages the sale to developers by telling potential buyers the house is haunted and plagued by sinkholes. Despite their bickering, the two bond over a charity softball game where Amanda encourages JP to pursue coaching, and JP encourages Amanda to take a risk on her own business ideas. A storm threatens the harvest, leading JP to rally the community to help Carol save the 'early splitter' pecans. The conflict peaks when JP presents a high-cash offer from a developer who wants to subdivide the land into a housing complex. Carol, needing the money for her move, considers it. However, Amanda realizes that the raw pecan oil Carol uses for her hands is a miracle ingredient. She decides to use her home equity to buy into the farm, allowing Carol to move while keeping the land intact. Amanda and her colleague Sasha launch their own brand, 'Pecan Hill.' JP decides to open a pitching academy, and the film concludes with Amanda and JP finally sharing a kiss before a softball game, having reconciled their past and aligned their futures.
