    Wait, what?

The quirks and curveballs that make this one a little weirder than your average Hallmark. No spoilers, promise.

    • The couple co-owns an inn with four goats that are treated as major characters.
    • A 'singing sink' that makes musical noises is considered a romantic selling point of the house.
    • The town raises $32,000 in cash in a single afternoon to give to the couple.
    • The goats are suggested as a viable business model (goat breeding) to pay off a six-figure debt.

    Full story (spoilers)
The film opens with Jenny and Brian enjoying their life as innkeepers at Emily's Country Inn in Bucks County, planning a fall wedding just two months away. Brian promises to build Jenny a gazebo for the ceremony, while Jenny focuses on her baking business and her beloved goats. Their peace is interrupted by the arrival of Meg Riley, an accountant from Chicago who reveals she is Jenny’s second cousin once removed and a legal heir to the property. Meg contests the 50-year-old will, demanding a buyout of $126,000 for her share of the estate, which threatens to force a sale of the inn. Brian, a former Wall Street trader, tries to use his business acumen to land a massive contract with Township Foods to generate the necessary cash, but the plan falls apart when their delivery driver's van breaks down, causing them to miss their window and lose the account. Amidst this financial crisis, Brian reaches out to his estranged, corporate-minded father, who visits the inn and initially struggles to understand Brian's new life as a 'shepherd.' Meanwhile, the townspeople, led by Alice and Tommy, realize the couple is in trouble. In a climactic show of support, the community holds a fundraiser at the local coffee shop, raising $32,000 as a down payment to stop the sale. Meg, moved by the community's love and her newfound family connection, agrees to the terms and gifts Jenny her grandmother's earrings for the wedding. Brian reconciles with his father in the barn, and the film concludes with a picturesque wedding ceremony in the completed gazebo, where the couple vows to stay at the inn forever.
