Why we’d put this one on

Weirdness 8, and a wish-fueled It's a Wonderful Life spin. Nikki DeLoach plays Penny, a restless married woman who tells a Christmas Angel she wishes she were single again, then has to live with exactly that and scramble to win her husband (Andrew W. Walker) back. It is a be-careful-what-you-wish-for romance, and the appeal is watching her realize what she actually had once it is gone. Gentle magic, second chances, and a familiar lesson delivered warmly. At 6.7, it is a satisfying holiday what-if for anyone who loves the alternate-reality flavor of Hallmark Christmas.
