    Wait, what?

The quirks and curveballs that make this one a little weirder than your average Hallmark. No spoilers, promise.

    • The 'Goat Lady' viral video subplot where the protagonist is chased by screaming goats.
    • Random strangers in public bleating like goats at the protagonist.
    • The protagonist's intense fear of goats being the primary driver of her career shift.

    Full story (spoilers)
The film opens with producer Paige Marshall and executive producer Millie struggling to find a replacement for Todd Harper, the demanding host of 'Next Destination.' Millie suggests Ben Burton, a former host known for his 'Bold World' digital series and a penchant for dangerous stunts. Paige, who values structure and safety, is skeptical of Ben's lack of discipline. During his audition, Ben and Paige engage in sharp banter that the network executives love, leading them to hire the pair as co-hosts for an eight-episode season in Hawaii. Ben's cameraman, Luis, joins the crew, and the team heads to Oahu. Early in the shoot, Ben discovers a viral video from Paige's past where she was chased by screaming goats at a farm, an incident that ended her previous hosting career and made her a laughingstock. While Paige is mortified, Ben tries to encourage her to laugh at herself. Their professional relationship is tested when Ben takes Paige on an 'off-the-beaten-path' drive that results in a flat tire and no cell service. Stranded, they bond over pineapple and share their true motivations: Paige wants to prove she can host again to pitch her own mystery-travel show, while Ben reveals he became a nomad after a failed engagement left him unable to follow a 'life script.' As filming progresses, the duo finds a rhythm. Paige begins to embrace spontaneity, participating in a Tahitian dance at a luau and going UTV-ing, while Ben starts to respect the necessity of research and planning. Their chemistry becomes undeniable, and they begin to plan a future together for the next season in Morocco. However, the conflict peaks when Todd Harper suddenly returns, having seen their footage and deciding he wants his job back—but only if he can co-host with Paige. This effectively pushes Ben out of the show. Ben, believing Paige is better off with the stability Todd offers, decides to leave for Australia to continue his solo adventures. In the final resolution, Paige realizes that the 'Hawaii bubble' wasn't just a temporary feeling and that she no longer wants a safe, planned life. She quits the show, much to Millie's surprise, and rushes to the airport. She misses Ben at the gate but finds him watching the sunset on the beach, as he had missed his flight on purpose. The film ends with a jump forward in time, showing Paige and Ben co-hosting a new, spontaneous travel show in Bali, with Luis still behind the camera, as they prepare to jump off a cliff together.
