    Wait, what?

The quirks and curveballs that make this one a little weirder than your average Hallmark. No spoilers, promise.

    • Personalized ice sculptures that are designed to melt into the guest's cup so they can drink them.
    • A wedding ring delivered via a buzzing drone that eventually crashes.
    • The concept of a 'couple's logo' for napkins and centerpieces.
    • Mick's intense hatred for the name 'Wyatt' because of Wyatt Earp.

    Full story (spoilers)
The film begins with Olivia Parsons staging her New York home for sale, preparing to move to Vermont to be with her former flame, Mick Turner. Mick, meanwhile, is finishing a 'Dive Bar Tour' and returning to the Willow Lake Inn. Upon Olivia's arrival, the expected romantic reunion is complicated when she reveals she has bought into the Inn as a business partner to help Mick out of a financial slump. Mick, a relaxed 'Type B' musician, is immediately overwhelmed by Olivia's 'Type A' energy as she begins 'staging' the Inn and removing his beloved wallpaper. The plot thickens when Mick's daughter, Julie, arrives with her boyfriend Wyatt, a hospitality major whom Mick views with immediate suspicion. To boost business, Mick and Olivia visit a high-end competitor, 'The Matrimony Resort,' where they meet Corrine and Chris, a couple whose wedding date was lost to a computer error. Olivia successfully poaches the wedding, but Corrine turns out to be a 'Bridezilla' obsessed with 'unforgettable' details like personalized ice sculptures that melt into drinks and a drone ring bearer. As the wedding preparations escalate, Mick and Olivia clash over the Inn's identity. Mick feels sidelined by Olivia's changes, while Olivia feels Mick is resistant to necessary progress. The tension peaks at the rehearsal dinner when a drone carrying the wedding rings crashes, and Chris, the groom, walks out after a discouraging talk with Mick about the complexities of relationships. Corrine realizes she has prioritized the 'Platinum Package' over her marriage. In the climax, the couple reconciles and decides to elope, but eventually settles for a simple, intimate ceremony at the Inn's gazebo. Mick finally accepts Wyatt after seeing his dedication, and he and Olivia reconcile their professional and romantic lives, agreeing to keep the Inn open year-round and embracing their partnership.
