    Wait, what?

The quirks and curveballs that make this one a little weirder than your average Hallmark. No spoilers, promise.

    • The sudden proposal of a 10-story high-rise hotel with a rooftop pool in the middle of a historic, rural mountain/lake estate.
    • The 'George from Cal' character who is hired as a senior planner despite having no idea how to order flowers or organize a schedule.

    Full story (spoilers)
The film opens with Simone, the owner of the Rosewood estate, deciding to sell her family's ancestral home because she can no longer manage it without her retired property manager, Gabriel. Gabriel's son, Jared, a finance professional with a hidden talent for woodworking, arrives to facilitate the sale to the Barretto family. Meanwhile, Hazel, a top coordinator at Parker Events, is planning a wedding for her sister Lindsey. Lindsey is desperate to marry at Rosewood because it is where their late mother was married. When the sale of Rosewood leads to the cancellation of Lindsey's date, Hazel confronts Jared and Simone. They reach a compromise: Hazel will act as the on-site manager for Rosewood's final month of events in exchange for securing Lindsey's wedding on June 26th. As Hazel works at Rosewood, she faces a career crisis when her boss, Raymond, hires an inexperienced college friend named George for the senior position Hazel was promised. Hazel is forced to train George while managing the estate's logistics. Jared begins performing manual repairs on the property, and he and Hazel develop a romantic connection while restoring the overgrown rose garden. The central conflict shifts when the buyers, the Barrettos, reveal their intention to demolish the historic structures to build a ten-story hotel with a rooftop pool—a plan that would destroy the 'magic' of the place. Parallel to the romance, Simone struggles to reconcile with her estranged sister, Faye, whose signature is required for the sale. Encouraged by Hazel, Simone reaches out, and the sisters finally address years of resentment and parental pressure, leading to a heartfelt reunion. In the climax, Hazel realizes her boss will never truly value her and resigns from Parker Events. Jared uses his financial expertise to create a new business plan that allows Simone and Faye to keep Rosewood as a partnership. The film concludes with Lindsey's wedding in the restored garden, where Simone and Faye announce they are keeping the inn. Jared and Hazel agree to run the estate together, finally acknowledging their feelings for one another during a romantic dance.
