Jolly Good Christmas

David Burnside is a high-achieving American architect working in London, currently dating Charlotte Fitzsimmons, the daughter of his boss, Simon. David is a man of schedules and logic, planning to give Charlotte a simple gift card for Christmas to avoid the stress of shopping. However, a chance encounter with Anji Patel, a 'personal shopper' known as the Gift Whisperer, challenges his perspective. Anji argues that a gift card is essentially 'giving up,' and David, feeling the pressure to impress Charlotte's family, hires Anji to find a truly meaningful present. Their journey through London is marked by escalating chaos: they are chased out of a high-end department store by overzealous security after a misunderstanding, and David accidentally falls into a body of water while rushing to a meeting. Because David misses a crucial appointment with developer Alan Fairlawn, Anji helps him crash a black-tie Dickens-themed charity gala at the Landmark Hotel. The plan backfires when David is spotted by Charlotte and Simon, leading Charlotte to believe David is having an affair with Anji. To make matters worse, Anji's car is towed with David's keys inside, forcing the pair to spend the night at Anji's parents' pub, The Hungry Manchester. During this time, David experiences the warm, chaotic family Christmas he never had as a child of traveling engineers. The next day, David realizes his relationship with Charlotte is based on professional convenience rather than love, and they mutually agree to part ways. David manages to secure the Fairlawn contract by being honest about his need for a work-life balance. He surprises Anji with a vintage pen she had been eyeing for herself, and the two meet at Big Ben at midnight to fulfill the 'Westminster Christmas Wish,' tossing a coin into the reflection of the clock tower and starting a new life together.
