    Full story (spoilers)
Kiki is in the middle of wedding crunch time when she is juggling orders from her food truck and final preparations for her sister Jenna's wedding. Jenna is thrilled but anxious, and the whole family keeps reminding Kiki how much pressure she is under as the caterer. Kiki insists she can handle it, even though the wedding means a lot more than just work to her. At the market, Kiki meets Clay, the executive chef and owner of 7 Basil, when he notices her signature chocolate zucchini muffins. Their first exchanges are prickly because Clay questions how a food truck chef will serve a formal wedding for a hundred guests, and Kiki resents being judged. When her planned industrial oven fails and her salmon order becomes a problem, her carefully prepared menu starts falling apart. Clay offers advice, and though Kiki is initially defensive, she is forced to admit she needs a new plan. As Clay helps her think through the logistics, the two begin to bond over food, family, and the pressure of living up to other people's expectations. He takes her to a restaurant tasting, then later brings her to a community food pantry where she sees how his life is rooted in feeding and caring for people. Kiki opens up about growing up in foster care and how cooking became the way she showed love. Clay shares that he once studied medicine to please his parents before choosing his own path in the kitchen. Their connection deepens as they find a fresh wedding concept: family-style service and tandoori chicken made in Kiki's food truck stone oven. While Kiki and Clay are finding their rhythm, Jenna's wedding emotions intensify. An old photo from her childhood box makes Jenna question her father Theo's absence, and Angie eventually tracks him down. Theo initially refuses to reconnect, but the news rattles Jenna, and when he unexpectedly appears at the rehearsal dinner, she feels betrayed and overwhelmed. Kiki and Clay also have a fallout when Kiki feels Clay is dismissing her work, and Clay realizes he has not been supportive enough of her effort to handle everything alone. On the wedding day, Jenna decides she cannot walk down the aisle until she speaks to her father. Theo arrives, apologizes, and admits he never knew Jenna had entered foster care after her mother died. Jenna tells him she has built a good life and invites him to stay, even asking him to walk her down the aisle alongside Angie. With the family emotionally repaired, Kiki returns to finish the food service, the wedding dinner is a success, and the guests praise the meal. In the final moments, Clay and Kiki acknowledge that they have something real, both professionally and personally, and they choose each other.
