    Wait, what?

The quirks and curveballs that make this one a little weirder than your average Hallmark. No spoilers, promise.

    • A character is legally named Kris Kringle and possesses supernatural knowledge of strangers' names.
    • A fortune cookie contains a specific 6-digit code required to turn on a town's public light display.
    • The shop name 'Everything Christmas Everywhere All The Time' (ECEATT).

Why we’d put this one on

Cindy Busby plays a Christmas obsessive who quits her job, slaps on reindeer antlers in the office, and road-trips with her workaholic best friend to a town that does Christmas all year. Along the way they meet a man legally named Kris Kringle who somehow knows everyone's name. Weirdness 8, and the magic gets cheeky: a fortune cookie holds the code for the town's light display, and a one-of-a-kind heirloom ornament turns up for the exact change in her pocket. If you like your holiday movies loose, sweet, and openly silly, this one leans all the way in.

    Full story (spoilers)
The film begins in a high-pressure corporate office where LJ is reprimanded by her boss, Randy, for wearing reindeer antlers and requesting time off for a long-planned trip. When Randy threatens her job, LJ chooses to quit, determined to honor a promise made to her late grandmother to visit Yuletide Springs and hang a special ornament on their famous tree. She convinces her practical, work-obsessed roommate Tory to join her. Their journey hits a snag when their car breaks down on a backroad. They are rescued by Zack, a friendly tow truck driver, and a mysterious older man named Kris Kringle, who happens to have the exact replacement belt needed for their engine. Kris invites them to a holiday fair in Clover Bend, where he performs seemingly impossible magic tricks and correctly identifies Tory by her full name, Viktoria. As the trip continues, the group experiences a series of 'coincidences.' They encounter Kris again on the side of the road with a flat tire and give him a lift to Gingerbread Glen. There, Tory meets Jason, the nephew of the local pastor, while Zack mysteriously arrives in the same town to deliver a car part he claims was ordered by mistake. Kris gives the group various 'gifts'—a stamp, a fortune cookie, and a voucher—which later prove to be essential tools. Tory, inspired by Jason and LJ’s bravery, finally stands up to her boss and quits her job via a dramatic phone call. The group visits the 'Enchanted Forest of Lights,' which they activate using a numerical code found inside Kris's fortune cookie. Despite Tory's attempts to find logical explanations for these events, LJ embraces the magic. Upon finally arriving at Yuletide Springs on Christmas Eve, disaster strikes when LJ accidentally drops and shatters her grandmother’s heirloom ornament. Devastated, she wanders into a shop called 'Everything Christmas Everywhere All The Time' (ECEATT), for which Kris had given her a voucher. Inside, she finds an identical ornament priced at the exact amount of change she has in her pocket. The film concludes with the revelation that Kris Kringle is the town's regular Santa, though his ability to be in multiple places and his knowledge of the future strongly imply he is the real Santa Claus. LJ and Tory find love with Zack and Jason, respectively, and LJ finally fulfills her grandmother's wish.
