When her family's beloved café is slated for demolition, Annie vows to put a stop to it before Christmas.
Middle of the road, with a twist — a fake relationship, mistaken identity and an enemies-to-lovers arc keep it from being totally by-the-book.
You’ve seen this pairing before: Kimberley Sustad and Paul Campbell have made 5 Hallmark movies together.
The quirks and curveballs that make this one a little weirder than your average Hallmark. No spoilers, promise.

Kimberley Sustad plays a family law attorney fighting to save her parents' beloved cafe from demolition, and she strikes a deal with the developer's carefree heir, Paul Campbell: she will pose as his legal counsel for a week to impress his father, and he will halt the wrecking ball. The Sustad and Campbell pairing is a fan favorite, and the banter delivers. The plot also involves the accidental destruction of a 400-year-old bonsai gifted by the Japanese Prime Minister, which is a sentence I enjoy typing. At a 7.1 it is one of the stronger entries here, warm and funny, with an enemies-to-lovers spark and plenty of save-the-cafe spirit.
