Park ranger Adam (David Gridley) guides her through the terrain and her own grief over her late mother. A heritage-and-repatriation hook that's more thoughtful than the setup suggests. Rated 6.1, and a fine place to start.

Love in the Great Smoky Mountains: A National Park Romance(2023)
Set in the Great Smoky Mountains, and the second-chance entry of the set. Freshly minted archaeology PhD Haley (Arielle Kebbel) shows up for a prestigious dig only to find her ex-boyfriend Rob (Zach Roerig) is both her colleague and her rival for the same career-making grant. A local Cherokee legend about a crystal hidden in a cave pulls them deeper underground and back toward each other. Forced proximity plus old sparks, exactly as it says on the tin.

Love in Glacier National: A National Park Romance(2023)
Set in Glacier National Park, the most-voted film of the three and the one with the sharpest conflict. Avalanche-forecasting expert Dr. Heather Lawrence (Ashley Newbrough) brings her high-tech models to the slopes and immediately butts heads with Chris Parker (Stephen Huszar), the mountain rescue director who trusts instinct over data. The science-versus-gut friction thaws into enemies-to-lovers. A wintry setting and a surprisingly weighty subplot about a sister's fertility journey. Rated 6.1.
