About the series
John Goodnight rides between settlements as a circuit judge, carrying a childhood history of violence into a job that asks him to judge other people. Luke Perry anchors the three films while the people and dangers along the route change. This is the Western option in the series catalogue: the appeal lies in legal choices, outlaws and journeys between towns, with romance sharing space with the judge's work.
