Goodnight (Luke Perry) witnesses a gang rob a bank and swears to bring them in, only for the case to get painfully personal when one of the young outlaws is the son of a widow he once loved. Cameron Bright plays the boy, Stefanie von Pfetten the widow. What starts as a judge's duty turns into a cross-country manhunt with a teenager he's trying to save from the noose. The lightest and most adventurous of the three, and the one I'd hand a Western skeptic. Goodnight (Luke Perry) rescues passengers from a stagecoach ambush, including a woman who may have been a prisoner being transported before the attack, and their flight takes them onto a gambling riverboat. Ricky Schroder and Katharine Isabelle co-star. It opens with a bear attack and only gets more eventful from there. A charm-and-danger finish to the trilogy.
