Film 3 · 2016
Flower Shop Mystery: Dearly Depotted
Abby has flowers to arrange and bridesmaid duties to fulfil at a family wedding. A murdered wedding crasher adds an investigation to that workload, moving the trilogy's final case into the tensions surrounding a celebration.
About the series
Abby Knight has changed careers, not lost her appetite for questions. Her flower shop, Bloomers, puts her in contact with customers whose ordinary arrangements lead to less ordinary problems. Marco Salvare becomes her investigating partner, while her father and daughter keep the cases connected to her home life. The trilogy is a compact choice if you want an amateur-sleuth series without committing to a long run of films.
What to expect
Expect a lawyer's questioning instincts applied to a small-town business. Flowers connect Abby to a hit-and-run inquiry, a college death and a wedding. Marco assists with the sleuthing, while the family and shop relationships keep the series from becoming a police-office procedural.
