Christmas in Evergreen is the closest Hallmark ever came to building a holiday version of a shared universe. Four films, one fictional Vermont town, and a magical snow globe that keeps quietly arranging people's lives. What sets it apart from most Hallmark franchises is that it's an actual connected saga: the same townspeople reappear, sometimes as the lead, sometimes waving from the background, and the couples from earlier films show up married in the later ones. Holly Robinson Peete and Barbara Niven anchor all four as town fixtures, with Rukiya Bernard and Chris Cope recurring, while Ashley Williams, Jill Wagner and Maggie Lawson each headline a chapter.
