Colleen Winton

Colleen Winton is the kind of actress Hallmark keeps in its back pocket, never the name on the poster but a familiar face turning up where the snow is falling. Across six films between 2016 and 2020 she has stayed in the supporting ranks, and she clearly knows the assignment: half of these are small town stories, three of them Christmas, the season she returns to most. She plays it straight, no winking at the camera. Her best is The Christmas Doctor from 2020, which at 6.9 sits just ahead of Hope at Christmas and Once Upon a Prince. She has no regular partner to speak of, drifting from one cast to the next, which is exactly the job of a reliable character player. If you watch enough holiday titles, you have seen her, and probably never paused to wonder who she was.
