    Wait, what?

The quirks and curveballs that make this one a little weirder than your average Hallmark. No spoilers, promise.

    • The central romance develops through anonymous desk notes and app messages between alternating deskmates.
    • A quilting class and a retirement community become key parts of the love story and the identity reveal.
    • The corporate plot escalates into an AI-generated replacement for human designers and a plan to clone a social platform.

    Full story (spoilers)
Omega Technologies acquires the art-focused social platform ArtistAxis, and chairman Walter Cook immediately imposes a return-to-office policy to force the two companies together. Liv Smith, Omega's Director of Corporate Strategy, is annoyed by the disruption to her routines and her hopes for a promotion, while Tom Cole, ArtistAxis's Head Designer, is equally frustrated by the new corporate oversight and Walter's constant meddling. Liv and Tom are assigned to share a desk on alternating office days, and their relationship begins as anonymous banter through notes and the Omega Tech app. She becomes Ms. Monday, he becomes Mr. Tuesday, and their playful exchanges about office clutter, scents, chairs, music, and taste turn into a genuine emotional connection. The secrecy lets them be honest in ways they cannot be in real life, and both start looking forward to the days they are in the office. As they work more closely, Liv is tasked with helping shape the ArtistAxis rebrand, and Tom becomes increasingly drawn to her intelligence and support. Team-building games, brainstorming sessions, and a series of coffee-and-matcha meetings pull them closer, even as each one worries the other might be too different from the person on the app. Meanwhile, Liv also joins a quilting class at a retirement community, where she befriends Tom's mother, Judie, without realizing how deeply connected that world is to the man she likes. Tom finally asks Ms. Monday to meet him at Enclave, and Liv agrees, but the date goes badly when she is late and the conversation turns painful. Tom feels abandoned and accuses Liv of not having his back when Walter dismisses his ideas, while Liv realizes she has been too passive at work and too guarded in their relationship. The misunderstanding exposes how much each of them wants the other to be braver, and their feelings become too real to hide. At the logo pitch, Tom presents a design he believes can work internationally, but Walter rejects it and then unveils an AI-driven plan to clone ArtistAxis and eliminate the need for designers altogether. Tom quits on the spot, Liv refuses to support Walter's pivot, and she eventually walks away too. After the dust settles, the truth about Ms. Monday and Mr. Tuesday finally comes out, they apologize for judging each other, admit how deeply they care, and decide to build a boutique design firm together called Patchwork.
