Lori Loughlin plays Jennifer Shannon, an antiques dealer with a sharp eye for a bargain and, it turns out, for a crime. She makes a lunch date with a woman she meets at a garage sale, then finds her dead in her home. The police call it an accident, but Jennifer connects it to a string of break-ins that follow garage sales, and she cannot let it go. This is the feature-length pilot that launched a long-running cozy-mystery series, so it is the place to start. At a 6.9, running a full two hours, it gives the case room to breathe. I will say nothing about who is behind it.
