Opening
Tegan teaches a snowflake photography class at the community center, where her passion and skill are established, and she awkwardly reconnects with Noah when he picks up his daughter Julie.
Inciting incident
Charlotte tells Tegan that Calvin Garrett wants to meet her about her snowflake photos, and Garrett offers to buy the collection if she can find the missing rare 12-sided stellar dendrite for the Christmas auction.
Rising action
Tegan studies the approaching storm, realizes it may create the perfect snowflake conditions, and convinces Noah to help her chase the storm into the mountains despite the danger.
Midpoint
On the mountain, Tegan and Noah use weather tools and photography to track the storm, share memories of their past and families, and begin to reconnect emotionally as old feelings resurface.
Conflict escalates
The storm intensifies, forcing them to shelter at the Evergreen Inn and then continue on until their truck gets stuck and they lose reliable communication, while Suzanne also starts circling Garrett as a possible backup photographer.
Climax
In the whiteout, Tegan and Noah finally reach the precise conditions they need and capture the rare snowflake, turning the dangerous search into the emotional breakthrough they both needed.
Resolution
Noah returns Tegan's camera, they confess their second-chance feelings, Garrett buys the photo at the auction to fund the community center repairs, and Noah invites Tegan to Christmas dinner as they embrace their future together.
