Baby, It's Cold Inside

Hannah Fischer is a top-tier travel agent at Tropical Beach Travel who hates the cold. Her boss, Erin, tasks her with visiting an Ice Hotel to scout for a new division called 'Frosty Forays,' dangling a management promotion as an incentive. Hannah brings her best friend Phoebe, who is recovering from a recent breakup with her boyfriend Shawn. Upon arrival, Hannah meets Ben Wade, whom she mistakes for a valet, only to later discover he is the co-owner and lead designer of the hotel. The hotel is also hosting a secret guest, Louis Chagnon, a feared hotel reviewer traveling under the alias Mr. Green. As Hannah explores the hotel, she repeatedly steps in to help with operational crises. When a traditional Nordic cake is destroyed, Hannah uses her grandmother's recipe to make Aebleskiver, impressing Chagnon. Later, when staff is short-handed, she and Phoebe lead a snowshoeing tour. Though they get lost, Hannah turns the mishap into a magical experience by discovering a local glass-blowing workshop, which delights the guests. Throughout these events, Hannah and Ben grow close, bonding over ice carving and the Northern Lights. Ben reveals he is opening a new hotel in Finland and invites Hannah to join him as a manager, recognizing her natural talent for hospitality. However, the hotel's current manager, Brigitte, feels threatened by Hannah and wants the Finland job for herself. Brigitte subtly sabotages Hannah’s confidence by reminding her of a past professional failure—a hotel flood Hannah once oversaw—and warning her that the Ice Hotel is too 'fragile' for someone with her history. Discouraged and believing she will only 'bungle' Ben's work, Hannah rejects the Finland offer and returns home to take the corporate promotion. Back in the city, Hannah realizes she is unhappy. After a surprise visit from Louis Chagnon, who gives her a glass souvenir and praises her impact on his stay, Hannah realizes she belongs in the hotel industry. She returns to the Ice Hotel, where Brigitte confesses her motives and encourages Ben to go after her. Hannah and Ben reunite, agreeing to take on the Finland project together with a new tropical-themed ice design.
