14 Love Letters

Kallie Sharp has returned to her family farm to run 'Goddess Goats,' a skincare business using her grandmother's recipes. Her neighbor, Jackson Flynt, has purchased her childhood home from her mother, Caroline, and is pressuring Kallie to sell her remaining land so he can fulfill his dream of opening a therapeutic riding camp for children. The story takes a turn when Kallie receives an anonymous letter containing a famous historical love letter from 1756. Encouraged by her best friend Sahara and her mother, Kallie begins to treat the letters as a mystery to be solved, suspecting either the local veterinarian, Dr. Grant, or her old high school friend, Dex. As more letters arrive—ranging from nautical themes to poetic prose—Kallie goes on dates with both men, though she finds herself increasingly drawn to Jackson, who helps her with her business and shares his own history as a former competitive rider who gave up his career to care for his sister. The situation escalates when a local magazine editor, Alison Fletcher, publishes a story about the 'Love Letter Mystery' to help promote Kallie's business. Jackson discovers that Sahara and Caroline are the ones actually sending the letters but is sworn to secrecy. At the annual town barn dance, the truth is publicly revealed: Caroline and Sahara orchestrated the scheme to help Kallie move on from her father's death and re-engage with life. Kallie feels humiliated and betrayed, particularly by Jackson for his silence. However, Caroline reveals the letters were actually copies of the ones Kallie's father used to win her over years ago. Realizing the letters were a tribute to her father's love, Kallie reconciles with her mother and Sahara. She then surprises Jackson at the stables, revealing she has arranged to keep his retired horses on her land, effectively merging their properties and dreams. The film ends with the two confessing their love and committing to a future together.
