    Full story (spoilers)
The film opens with Tanya, a professional security agent, successfully thwarting a kidnapping attempt at a consulate, establishing her combat prowess. Her boss, Chesterton, assigns her to protect Daisy Thompson, the daughter of billionaire Wes Thompson, who is receiving threatening notes a week before her Texas-style wedding in California. Tanya, who harbors a deep resentment for weddings after being abandoned by her fiancé Kevin years prior, is reluctant but accepts the job when offered a potential partnership in the firm. She goes undercover as a bridesmaid, joining Daisy’s inner circle: the 'mother hen' Betsy, and friends Sally and Kimmy. Tanya immediately begins a tactical assessment, installing GPS trackers and monitoring the estate. She meets Jake, the groom's best friend, who claims to be a law student; despite her professional distance, a romantic spark forms during a series of pre-wedding events, including a competitive football game and a shooting range outing where Tanya accidentally reveals her expert marksmanship. The investigation hits several snags: Tanya suspects the groom, Chip, of cheating after seeing him with a maid, but it turns out he was merely looking for a lost contact lens. She also investigates Daisy’s Aunt Helen, Cousin Eldridge, and business rival Bosworth. The threats escalate from notes to a live cartridge case left in a flowerpot. During a bachelorette party, Tanya lets her guard down and bonds with the girls, but a subsequent shooting incident at the estate leads to her being fired by Wes Thompson for 'flirting' with Jake instead of watching Daisy. Dejected, Tanya returns home and reconciles with her ex-fiancé Kevin, learning the importance of forgiveness. However, Daisy realizes she needs Tanya and invites her back as a friend. At the wedding, Tanya pieces together the clues: the culprit is Betsy, whose family was financially ruined by Wes Thompson's business dealings. As the vows are exchanged, Betsy pulls a gun on Daisy. Tanya uses her combat training to disarm Betsy with a 'left hook' in front of the guests. The wedding concludes happily, and Tanya recites a bizarrely poetic tribute to love involving unicorns and rainbows. The film ends with Tanya and Jake dancing, her wedding phobia cured and her career as a partner in the security firm secured.
