Opening
A royal engagement photo shoot for Princess Coralina and Prince Desmond is underway to unite Vostieri and Androvia over the disputed Alsinian province.
Inciting incident
Coralina elopes with a plumber, forcing the royal families to scramble for a replacement bride and making Desmond seek out Coralina's long-hidden sister, Beatrix.
Rising action
Beatrix's secret royal identity is revealed to Chloe, Desmond proposes a diplomatic marriage, and Beatrix reluctantly agrees to reconsider for the sake of peace.
Midpoint
Beatrix and Desmond travel together, sneak out for pizza and bowling, and discover they actually enjoy each other once they are away from royal protocol.
Conflict escalates
The summit between the kings devolves into insults over old treaties and national grievances, even as Beatrix tries to mediate and keep the wedding-and-politics plan from collapsing.
Climax
Beatrix leads a conflict-resolution exercise that helps the fathers reach a compromise, then realizes she has fallen in love with Desmond as the political need for their engagement fades.
Resolution
Beatrix chases Desmond to the border, he confesses his love, she accepts his real proposal, and the story closes with peace between the kingdoms and a future wedding.
