    Full story (spoilers)
Meg Mooreland is a perfectionist wedding planner who is balancing her best friend Ellie's upcoming nuptials with a massive new contract for celebrity Valerie Ford. The wedding weekend begins with tension when Meg encounters the best man, Tyler, her old nemesis from a college Economics class. Disasters strike immediately: the original chalet venue is overbooked, the cake order is lost, and Ellie's grandmother's 'something blue' bracelet goes missing. These stressors, combined with the overbearing nature of Sam’s mother, Claire, lead Ellie to experience severe cold feet and doubt her relationship with Sam. To intervene, Meg and Tyler reluctantly collaborate to 'recreate' Sam and Ellie's most romantic past dates—including their first dinner and the night they first said 'I love you'—to remind them of their connection. While these efforts work, Meg's focus is constantly pulled away by Valerie Ford's increasingly absurd wedding demands, such as llamas and fire dancers. The conflict reaches a breaking point when Meg misses Ellie's rehearsal dinner speech to take a work call, leading Tyler to confront her about her inability to prioritize people over her career. On the morning of the wedding, Ellie officially calls off the ceremony. Realizing she has failed her friend, Meg abandons her work calls and teams up with Tyler to create a sentimental scavenger hunt for Ellie, using Sam's personal keepsakes to guide her back to the altar. Ellie realizes that their love is more important than a perfect event and goes through with the wedding. In the aftermath, Meg apologizes to Tyler for her behavior, and the two share a dance at the reception, acknowledging their mutual attraction as Tyler reveals he may move to the West Coast for a new job.
