    Full story (spoilers)
Emilia Priestly comes back from London to work full-time on Mystery Island, where she and Jason Trent are trying to build both the business and their relationship. Carlos announces an expansion to Mystery Mountain in Montana, and the island team prepares to play a game against the new rival staff led by Dex Longstreth, whose polished, competitive style immediately creates tension. When the teams gather, Mystery Mountain uses a high-tech setup with custom phones, a Bluetooth network, and a holographic AI version of Evelyn Murtaugh to kick off a murder puzzle. The game quickly turns alarming when Regan Morris appears to be killed by a remote-triggered dart and an allergic reaction, cutting the island off from help and forcing everyone to stay together while the landline and network are disabled. As the group searches for answers, Emilia and Jason work through Evelyn's riddles, first uncovering the Telemachus clue and then using cipher logic, page references, and poem analysis to narrow the suspect list. Suspicion bounces between Dex, Stanley Williams, Tom Robinson, Inga Sorenson, and Khalif Brooks, especially after Stanley becomes strangely evasive, a body seems to vanish, and another apparent death at the tower makes the whole situation feel like a real serial-killer attack. The tension spikes when Jason and Emilia piece together that the clues are not pointing to a murderer so much as a staged narrative tied to John Murtaugh, the island's founder. They realize that the deaths are inconsistent on purpose, that the missing bodies and scattered props are part of a larger deception, and that Stanley's suspicious behavior, Tom's history, and the false evidence are all meant to misdirect them. After Jason and Emilia confront the assembled group, the truth comes out: the supposed murders were a layered fake-out designed as a meta game, with Regan, Dex, Khalif, and Stanley all helping stage events to protect the real solution and make a point about Mystery Island's legacy. What looked like a locked-island killing spree is revealed to be a brilliant, over-the-top stunt, and the island team gets the last laugh by solving the puzzle and beating Mystery Mountain at its own game. With the crisis over, the two teams reconcile, Carlos is impressed by Mystery Mountain's effort, and Emilia and Jason finally stop circling each other emotionally. The movie closes on their mutual attraction and the promise of a real future together, with the final mystery shifting from the game to their relationship.

    4. 4
