    Wait, what?

The quirks and curveballs that make this one a little weirder than your average Hallmark. No spoilers, promise.

    • The love interest has been having vivid, prophetic dreams of the protagonist's face since he was eight years old.
    • The protagonist's beauty marks are accurately depicted in a painting made by someone who had never met her.
    • Aunt Deirdre's unsolicited commentary on Lily's 'birthing hips' being 'primed and ready'.
    • The 'J. O'Brien' goose chase involves a man who claims to be descended from Irish Kings.

    Full story (spoilers)
Lily Young is a dedicated museum curator in the U.S. who has remained single since her husband Greg died three years prior. Her life is upended when an anonymous crate arrives at the museum containing a high-quality oil portrait of herself. Her boss, Michelle, and colleague Kate confirm the painting is an exact match, including unique beauty marks. Finding a stray packing slip from 'Inistioge, Ireland' signed by a 'J. O'Brien,' Lily travels to the Irish village to find the artist. Upon arrival, she nearly runs over a man on a bicycle, who turns out to be William Murphy. William and his sister Saoirse run the local post office and agree to help Lily find the sender. They embark on a search through the countryside, visiting various people named J. O'Brien, including an eccentric aunt who comments on Lily's 'birthing hips' and a flirtatious man named Jimmy. During the search, Lily and William bond over their shared losses; William's fiancé Rachel left him without explanation five years ago, and Lily reveals the pain of losing Greg in a car accident. A subplot involves William rescuing an elderly neighbor, Mrs. O'Cleary, who had fallen ill. The investigation eventually leads them to Jonathan O'Brien, an elderly widower who reveals he sent the painting to the museum because his late wife loved that specific gallery. However, Lily realizes William is the actual artist when she sees his signature—a hidden lily—on his other sketches. William confesses a startling truth: he has been dreaming of Lily's face since he was eight years old and painted the portrait based on those lifelong visions. Freaked out by the seemingly supernatural obsession and William's initial dishonesty, Lily flees back to America. Back home, Michelle helps Lily realize that finding love again doesn't betray her late husband's memory. William eventually follows Lily to the U.S., presenting her with a new sketch. They reconcile, accepting that whether by fate or coincidence, they are meant to be together.
