The premise
When Mackenzie inherits her aunt's once-majestic inn, she decides to sell it. But fixing up the rundown place is more challenging than she had anticipated. Then the magic of Christmas intervenes, with unexpected help from Santa's elves.
How unusual is it?
Honestly? Not very — and that's the charm. It plays the hits, which is exactly the point for a cozy night in.

Why we’d put this one on
A family-friendly slice of holiday magic and the follow-up in the Northpole world. Lori Loughlin plays Mackenzie, who inherits her aunt's once-grand inn and means to sell it, until fixing up the rundown place turns out to be harder than expected and a little Christmas magic intervenes, with help from Santa's elves. Bailee Madison plays Clementine and Dermot Mulroney rounds out the cast as Ian. It is gentle, fix-the-inn comfort with just enough sparkle for younger viewers in the room. If you want something cozy, wholesome, and low on weirdness that the whole family can sit through, this is an easy, warmhearted pick.
