    Wait, what?

The quirks and curveballs that make this one a little weirder than your average Hallmark. No spoilers, promise.

    • The lead artist secretly sells work under the name Verre while posing as another artist's assistant
    • The fair uses a live-streamed glassblowing exhibition and a Christmas tree installation where patrons hang ornaments

    How it all plays out

    Full story (spoilers)
Holly James arrives at the Fern Grove Christmas Market determined to get a spot at the emerging artist booth, but her attempt to push her way in runs straight into Jack Dubois, the fair's rigid director and her long-simmering romantic frenemy. While Holly is trying to secure a place for herself and her glasswork, the fair is also preparing to feature Bianca Bonhomme, a famous glass artist coming out of retirement for a headline exhibition and a possible Seal of the Season from critic Walter Gregson. When Bianca's assistant abruptly quits, Holly seizes the chance to help her in exchange for a booth and a recommendation. Bianca is prickly, demanding, and deeply wary of criticism after Gregson once trashed her color-heavy work, forcing her into a new style that is clean, clear, and emotionally distant. Holly's energy and genuine admiration gradually get Bianca to trust her enough to let her help, even as Jack keeps reminding Holly to stay professional and not blow the opportunity. At the same time, Holly has been secretly selling her own pieces under the name Verre. Collette, the fair's new social media manager and Holly's best friend, helps boost Verre online, and the anonymous work quickly sells out. Walter notices the buzz, Bianca becomes suspicious and resentful, and Jack realizes the fair desperately needs a success story because his grandfather is considering selling the fair property if this season does not turn things around. As pressure builds, Holly and Jack grow closer while working late, repairing broken pieces and trying to keep Bianca's booth ready for Walter's visit. Jack confides that the fair's future depends on Walter's review, and Holly reveals her dream of getting into the Museum of Glass residency. Bianca, meanwhile, struggles with her own identity crisis, realizing that her new work is technically polished but not personally meaningful. Everything blows up when Walter prepares to expose Verre's identity on air and Bianca discovers that Holly has been selling work at the fair without telling her. Bianca feels betrayed and Jack feels misled, while Jack's grandfather decides the fair cannot be saved and moves ahead with selling the land. Holly finally confesses that she hid behind the Verre pseudonym because she was afraid of rejection, and Bianca eventually admits she has been letting Walter's old criticism define her art for years. In the end, Holly and Bianca reconcile and bring Bianca's true artistic vision back to the surface with a live-streamed installation called "Christmas Gifts," inspired by the wrapping traditions of Bianca's father. Walter awards Fern Grove Fair the Seal of the Season, Jack's grandfather reconsiders selling and hands Jack the reins as the new director, and Bianca personally recommends Holly for the residency as long as she uses her real name. Holly and Jack finally admit their feelings and kiss under the glow of the fair, closing the story with career wins, family healing, and a new romance.
