    Wait, what?

The quirks and curveballs that make this one a little weirder than your average Hallmark. No spoilers, promise.

    • A college president and a football coach are forced to share the president's historic house with an entire football team
    • The team literally picks up and moves a car blocking the driveway
    • A spontaneous pop-up concerto appears after the house is cleaned up

    Full story (spoilers)
Cassidy Miller arrives at Whittendale as the new college president and immediately finds herself in damage-control mode. The campus has a budget shortfall, the board is considering cutting the arts program, and Cassidy is desperate to find a new revenue source before the trustees vote. She also needs a major donor, Leo Farnsworth, to take Whittendale seriously again, so she is balancing institutional politics, public image, and her own anxiety about proving she belongs in the job. At the same time, a burst pipe floods the freshman football dorm, leaving Coach Logan Van Orden with nowhere to house his players. With campus space maxed out, Logan pushes the one remaining option: the president's house. Cassidy reluctantly agrees to let the team move into her home for five days, then immediately regrets it when the players turn her orderly life upside down. Their first interactions are prickly and funny, beginning with a coffee spill and a rushed morning that makes it clear they are opposites with very different ideas about discipline, leadership, and what the college needs most. The living arrangement becomes a forced-proximity comedy of errors. Logan's players eat her food, leave cabinets open, use up the hot water, and treat the historic house like a locker room, while Cassidy counters with strict house rules and a demand for better behavior. Yet the setup also reveals the boys' vulnerabilities: Teddy is homesick, Malcolm is overworking himself, Nick is nervous about a girl, and Antonio is trying to fit in. Cassidy and Logan start to see that they are both trying to guide young people who are under more pressure than they admit. As the days go on, Cassidy and Logan begin to collaborate instead of spar. She leans on the arts to help them bond, turning music and dance into a tool for focus and morale, while he helps her reframe her pitch to Farnsworth around Whittendale's long-term future. Their conversations become more personal as they admit how much pressure they are under: Cassidy feels like the new kid on campus despite being president, and Logan is trying to prove himself after losing his Buckeye State assistant coaching opportunity and dealing with his father's legendary shadow. Their mutual respect turns into attraction, even as they keep each other at arm's length. The biggest setback comes when Logan is offered the Buckeye State job after all, and Cassidy prepares to pitch Farnsworth with a bold plan centered on a new football stadium that could generate ongoing revenue for the college. But Logan misses the crucial video call because he is caught at his father's statue dedication, and the proposal falls flat without him. Cassidy feels abandoned and assumes Logan has chosen his dream over her and over Whittendale, while Logan is crushed that his absence has derailed the one chance they had to save the arts program. In the end, the campus rallies around them. The players help restore order, the Founder's Day Formal is revived, and Cassidy and Logan come together for the arts showcase and the big donor weekend. Farnsworth returns in person, sees the genuine teamwork on display, and agrees to back the stadium project, which saves the arts program. Logan chooses Whittendale over Buckeye State, Cassidy embraces the community she has built, and the story closes with the two of them openly planning a future that includes family dinners, more time together, and a date to the Cincinnati Symphony.
