Opening
Scarlett and Gina pitch Pup's Palate, a healthy dog treat brand, but their first attempts to sell it fail because retailers think the product lacks sales history and shelf space is already dominated by Pup Chuck.
Inciting incident
At Paws and Wellness Emporium, Scarlett embarrassingly spills birdseed on Alex Paulson, but he is kind, listens to their pitch, and later agrees to test the treats on his dog Mosey, which leads to the first order.
Rising action
The product begins to sell, Alex and Scarlett spend time together outside of work, and their attraction grows through coffee, climbing, and shared interests in unconventional hobbies and work-life balance.
Midpoint
The business expands with more orders and new equipment, but Alex's history with Michelle and the pressure of corporate relationships start to complicate both the romance and the future of Pup's Palate.
Conflict escalates
Michelle, under pressure from Pup Chuck and Paul Frasca, cancels the order and removes the product from shelves; Scarlett's booth promotion is shut down and fined, and she and Alex have a painful argument when she thinks he betrayed her.
Climax
Alex and Scarlett reconcile, then storm the executive meeting to defend Pup's Palate with nutritional proof, customer enthusiasm, and the popularity of the product, forcing the company to reconsider its decision.
Resolution
Pup's Palate secures a bigger future, Paul Frasca's attempted buyout is rejected, and Scarlett and Alex end up together, celebrating both the business success and their relationship.
