The premise
Sara Thomas is the type of woman who prefers to sit on the sidelines at work, but when her big idea for a Christmas initiative is stolen, she makes a wish to Santa that she'll finally have the courage to stand up for herself. Santa grants her wish, but only gives her 48 hours. As the clock ticks, Sara discovers how to channel the Christmas magic and speak her mind all on her own.

So she wishes to Santa for the courage to finally speak up, and Santa grants it, with a 48-hour time limit. The countdown gimmick gives the romance with Paul Greene a nice little engine. It is a gentle, find-your-voice Christmas charmer that fans of Chabert will slot right into their December rotation. Sweet, sincere, and easy to love.
